A Yellow Dot in the Sky

o: 0,5+ (: 30’

A yellow dot in the sky is sometimes very small, other times a huge golden ball. At one moment, its reflection dazzles the eyes, and at another, it hides behind the clouds. An interactive dance-visual-tactile performance for all people under the sun from one year of age onwards gently, aesthetically, and through movement invites the youngest to experience performing arts for the first time, together with their companions, and to let themselves be touched by the rays of interwoven creativity.

  • Expert Commission’s Opinion: *A Yellow Dot in the Sky*, a performance aimed at the youngest audience and their first encounters with performing arts, gently combines the soft materiality of the textile-based scenography with a minimalist choreographic approach that interactively explores stage props through movement. The dramaturgy skillfully captures a balance between the refined story about a natural phenomenon and the autonomy of stage action, making the flow excellently suited to the target age. With the final invitation to active exploration and the emphasis on the performance as a primarily experiential kinesthetic experience, *A Yellow Dot in the Sky* offers the youngest their first contact with the performing arts form, opening up moments of wonder, curiosity, and play.
