Let’s create the BEST world!

Let’s Create the BEST World! is a play about a world that serves as a metaphor for utopia. The “best” world, which can be compared to paradise, is an ideal place—a space of imagination, a space of metaphors for the future.

The play Let’s Create the BEST World! does not have a classic separation between the stage and the audience. It is designed in a shared space. Children/audiences, together with the actress, co-create an imagined theatrical puppet world.

With playful theatrical interventions, the performance encourages the audience (children) to contribute to creating the “best” world. The world they design is always different. Based on their interactions, the actress leads them through the images of the created “best” world. These puppet and acting interventions by the actress are smaller improvised forms, with a partially pre-prepared script.

In Let’s Create the BEST World!, the creators of the AEIOU Theater continue to explore interactive, experiential, and spatial performances (Heart and Navel 2015).
